Dahir Muhammad Dahir is Chief Engineer and Co-founder of Deterrence Technologies. Previously, he was the CTO and Sole-Founding Engineer at Bexil Solutions, where he served as a generalist, driving software engineering, cloud architecture, and security engineering, generating over $3.5 million in revenue for state governments. Dahir is a decorated winner of the Huawei ICT Competition, securing first place at the university, national, African regional, and global stages in 2020. A passionate problem-solver, he has built and open-sourced projects on GitHub and led his team to three consecutive first-place wins at Carnegie Mellon University's PicoCTF competition (African Leaderboard). Dahir has developed software systems for private organizations in transportation, logistics, data capture, and payments, and conducted cybersecurity audits for major institutions like NDIC, Trust Media, and Ahmadu Bello University. In his free time, he enjoys video games, CTFs, and reading.
