
Abdulaziz Ta'ariq is a seasoned project and team manager with over seven years of experience in environmental sustainability and community development initiatives. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, he excels in project management, program coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and team leadership. As a former project manager at Ahmadu Bello University’s Directorate of University Advancement, Ta'ariq secured collaborations, grants, and academic linkage programs. Currently, he co-founded Vendetta Security, a technology firm focused on defending against digital threats, where he manages operations and stakeholder relationships, and serves as Chief Operating Officer at Deterrence Technologies, leveraging his exceptional people skills to resolve challenges and secure funding. Recognized for his leadership, Ta'ariq has received accolades including the Award of Excellence for Service to Humanity from Kaduna Polytechnic, Ahmadu Bello University Vice Chancellor’s Award for Exceptional Leadership (2017), and ENACTUS Most Exceptional Team Leader of the Year (2017). A co-founder of the Youths Making A Difference (YMAD) Foundation, he mentors young leaders and serves as an Impact Officer with the Global Shapers Community and The ONE Campaign to combat extreme poverty. In his spare time, Ta'ariq enjoys teaching, public speaking, long-distance running, and farming.
